On-line Business Card
If you are starting a small business, the first thing you need is to secure your domain name and put your contact info there. Do this before you buy business cards, so that the domain name can be on your business cards.
This On-line Business Card site will include:
- The name of your business
- A short description of your business
- The street address of your business (optional) with a link to Mapquest or Google Maps (your choice)
- Phone Numbers
- Your e-mail address, formatted as a link
- Your logo, if you have one
- One Photo
- A slogan or short testimonial
- Your choice of font color and background color
Your costs will be:
- Buying your own domain name (I can walk you through this): $5 - $15/year
- Share hosting with me for a single page: $60/year (that works out to $5/month)
- Labor: $50
- Total: $50 set-up, $65 - $75/year

- Now that you have a domain name, you can get an e-mail address like whatever-you-want@your-domain.com
- The mailboxes to hold the mail are free with web hosting, or the mail can be simply forwarded to an e-mail address you already use
