City of Dickson

  • The city had an existing web site, which was very pretty but very slow and difficult to maintain. I redesigned it with the same basic look and feel, but the page loads went from over a minute to under 10 seconds on dial-up. The existing web site was only partially created, but I was able to finish it and add dozens of pages.
  • ASP.Net 2.0 Master Pages and Security for the Administration pages
  • I re-designed and created the new look templates for the site using Photoshop, XHTML, and CSS
  • The more frequently-updated content is managed through MS SQL Server 2005 and a password protected Administration section made with ASP.Net 2.0
