Overall Site Design Template and Home Page
All the pages on the web site will share several things in common, such as a logo, menu, contact information, copyright information etc. Designing the overall look and feel of the site, and the menu system, generally takes some time. After that, adding simple static pages is a breeze. The price for this step is $700 - $1000, based on the options below.
Create the look and feel: $200 (if you already have an existing site and you want me to use the existing look and feel, or if you have an exact site design as a Photoshop file or a template you've bought, then I won't charge for this.)
Adapt the look and feel to the constraints of the site skeleton and sound web design principles: $200
Create a Menu System
- Text/CSS top or side menu, including drop-down menu if desired: $100
- Graphical menu created with Photoshop: $200
Create a Home Page design independant of the inner page template: $200 (I usually don’t do this, but sometimes it really adds to a site. Check out www.katybowser.com for an example of a neat home page that was designed independantly of the inner pages.)
Static pages (containing a few paragraphs of text and 2-3 photos): $40 each.
Animation and Scripting - Flash and JavaScript make all sorts of special effects possible. Pricing depends on the complexity and scale of the project, so we’d have to sit down and hash it out before I give you a quote.
From here, we can add Pre-built Dynamic Web Applications or Custom Dynamic Pages (or both!).
